The Presidential election this year, is the biggest in history. With our economy being as bad as it is, and its been bad for as long as President Bush has been in office.
I will be happy when there is a Democrat in the office. It’s been a long time coming. A President who actually gives a damn about the people!
It’s time we have a change, a change for the better, for the good of the people and the United States of America.
Healthcare plans are a joke! The whole Medicare thing is pretty bad. The fact that people cant retire, because they are afraid they wont have any money to live on, after working their whole lives. I mean, seriously, am I going to have to work till I’m 75 years old. I really don’t want to have to work till I’m 62 or 65. Is there going to be any social security by the time I hit retirement age. I have 20 more years to work until that happens. What is going to happen 20 years from now?
The rising cost of everything, is unbelievable, gas is finally started to drop, but that is only because of the affect of everything that went down on wall street, the whole financial crisis, mortgage crisis, etc. The cost of food is extreme, the cost of healthcare is out of this world, the cost of college tuition is beyond anything you can think of. The list goes on and on, you can’t even scratch the surface there is so much debt that the government has caused. What if I lost my job and became disabled, then what, what would happen? I would be up a creek without a paddle.
We can turn this country around, with the use of our own resources, wind energy, solar energy, and other ways of doing things. Let’s get rid of the gasoline car all together, we could go electric, we can have wind energy fueling our vehicles with power, wouldn’t that be something? Maybe if cars were made differently and couldn’t really go as fast, maybe they would be safer, maybe there would be less fatal accidents.
We can change our country and we can make it a safer place. There are so many things that can be done.
